Aviation support was provided by the 281st Assault Helicopter Company (-)
Detachment B-52
(PROJECT
DELTA), 5th SFGA, during the period 4 August to 1 October 1969. The
operation
was supported by 36 Officers and 63 Enlisted men. There were eight (8) UH1H and
six
(6) UH1C helicopters. The 1st and 2nd Plt, UH1H [281
st
AHC]
provided support from 4
August
to 27 August and 8 September to 1 October 1969, respectively. The operation was
further
supported as follows:
