He loved fishing on the rivers and waterways of Florida. He loved exploring while camping with his wife and grandkids. Papa, as his grandkids would call him, enjoyed watching them play their sports, from basketball, baseball, volleyball, football, and motocross to fishing tournaments. He was proud of every one of them near or far. He tried to attend as many games, tournaments, and sporting events however big or small. He showed up. He was excited about his grandkid's future and to watch all of the accomplishments that they had achieved. Papa enjoyed rocking on the front porch and floating in the pool, one of his favorite relaxing past times. He was so proud to sit on the back porch and watch every detail of the pool and backyard. He loved taking care of his birdhouses and seeing which ones had just flown in for the season. Donnie had many good friends along his life journey.
