281st AHC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

I am pleased to inform you that we received a donation from a current active member of the association in the amount of $3,000 to be used for a scholarship awarded in the name of Tommy Condrey.  The timing was almost perfect in that we were able to share the news with Tommy’s sister Mary Ellen who as the result of losing her husband was in need of good news.  Sure makes this job rewarding.

Along the good news line all four of our students were on the honor list for last term and two carried a 4.0 GPA.  The other two were 3.5 students.  One of the students is studying in Spain this semester.  We can all be proud of these young people.

So far I have not received applications for next year and we are getting close to the deadlines. Please see the Bulletin Board for information concerning the awards application deadline.
